Under the Mission Shakti Programme proposed by U.P. Govt., Women Empowerment Cell and Mission Shakti Abhiyan Committee of Career Convent Girls Degree College organized One Day Workshop on 23 September 2021. Dr. Farzana Sharafat (Asstt. Professor, Dept. of Political Sci. & Coordinator, Women Empowerment Cell) spoke on how to improve the conditions of women in developing countries. Various competitions like Poetry, Speech and Debate competition were held in which a large number of students participated. Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava (Principal) focused on women respect and education. Other members of the Cell Dr. Bandana Singh (Asstt. Prof. Dept. of Chemistry), Mrs. Shabana Khan (Asstt. Prof. Dept. of Sociology) and Ms. Sakshi Agrawal (Asstt. Prof. Dept. of Commerce) supported the event. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Shweta Mishra (Asstt. Prof. Dept. of Psychology & Coordinator of Women Empowerment Cell).
