Department of English of Career Convent Girls Degree College, organized an online session about William Shakespeare on the occasion of Shakespeare day (23 April) in which Dr. Ritu Saxena, Assistant Prof. delivered her valuable speech regarding correlation between the current Covid-19 pandemic sweeping the world and the raging plague of the Elizabethan age, a time when the legendary playwright was penning his works. In addition to it, the students showed their talents and creativity by making Posters, Reading Poems, and Presenting PPT. Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava, Principal and all other faculty members attended the session. Dr. Deepak advised all the participants to practice social distancing and follow Covid protocols, with this we will emerge victorious from the ongoing pandemic.
